Returns and Shipping Policy

As the customer, you are responsible for ensuring you meet all of the ownership criteria to purchase and own a Brace Built firearm in accordance with relevant state and local laws in the customer’s state of residence. If the firearm cannot be legally transferred to the customer from a dealer, we will have the dealer ship the firearm back to us and the customer can contact us for a refund.

Ordering Process

Customer places an order on the website. Customer either provides Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) information at that time or we contact the customer to select an FFL in their state that will conduct the transfer. We build the firearm and transfer it to the selected FFL for sale to the customer. As an FFL, we ship all firearms using an approved carrier (FedEx and UPS are most common) to another FFL and following all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws. These carriers provide proof of delivery. We include a copy of our FFL with every firearm purchase. The customer comes to the FFL and presents identification and fills out the Federal Form 4473. FFL conducts background checks and checks additional required documents as per State by State and local regulations before transferring possession to the customer. The customer’s identity will be verified at the selected FFL when they go to pick up their firearm. If the customer is rejected as being unqualified to own a firearm because of Federal, State, or Local regulations, the FFL will return the firearm to us and we will refund the customer’s money.

Our web sales of firearms products are all processed through a customer-selected Federal Firearms Licensee(s) in the state of the purchaser. A customer pays us to build the firearm and we send it to that designated licensee for disposition to the customer. The customer then goes into that FFL location, provides identification and fills out a Federal Form 4473, and the FFL licensee executes the relevant process for that particular state with respect to a background check or need for additional documentation. If the customer is rejected because they are a prohibited person, the customer can contact us for a refund of the money collected. Background checks are performed at each FFL in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations. Background check requirements and firearms regulations vary from State to State.”
